Ahoy to all who do reference duty
For the rest of this week and Mon & Tues of next week the Library is taking part in Head Start. If you haven't already heard our theme is "Pirates of the Leddy Library". Those of us who are participating (willingly or otherwise) in the INFO FAIR will be giving out coins to the students who visit our booth. They will be asked to bring the coin to the Reference Help Centre and they will be given a treasure by whoever is at RHC, that means you guys.
The catch is, they will be given a nice shiny coin if they ask lots of questions and the person at RHC will give them a free blank laser print card. However if they bring you a small dull grey or small dull goldish brown coin, they are to be given a library mug or a blank disc. The idea is to get them to physically come in to the Library and make human contact while they are here on campus. Sorry I didn't mean it to sound like we were talking about aliens. Maybe that could be next years theme!
Thanks to everyone for helping with this.
